2000/2001 Leadership Program Cadre 2
Twenty-nine teams were chosen to participate in the second cadre of the National Computational Science Leadership Program. Newly represented states include Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, United Kingdom, and West Virginia. Once again chosen from a national pool of applicants, the second cadre of 116 teachers represents 20 states and includes high minority (41%), rural (58%), and low wealth (63%) school districts. The selected teams represent Alabama, Colorado (2 teams), Connecticut, Florida (2 teams), Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina (3 teams), New Mexico (3 teams), Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas (3 teams), United Kingdom (DoDD School), Washington, and West Virginia (2 teams). |
