Purpose

• Describe the weight changes of the human body by using a flowchart.

Materials

· Pens –may be colored

· Unlined paper

Procedure

· Divide into groups as directed by your teacher.

· Decide which of the variable you have discussed you will use in your flowchart.

· Use the following shapes for your flowchart:

The flow of logic

· Agree in your group on a flowchart that represents weight changes in the human body.

• Prepare a presentation of your flowchart and an explanation of the variables you chose.
• Prepare to defend your choices as being realistic. Be ready to quote from research that you have read.
