Use dimensional analysis to check each of your equations. Do the units on the right match the units on the left? Are there any places in your flowchart where you need to change any of your units in order to have the units match throughout the equation? Make any changes that are needed. The changes may require another block--perhaps one that converts pounds to kilograms or vice versa.
Compare the equations and the units used to the equations for energy or power that you have studied. Can you find any relationships?
What do you expect to find the same? (Energy should be conserved.) If you carefully measure the energy that goes into your body (food) and the energy that leaves your body (as exercise) will they be the same? why or why not? (Some factors to consider are that energy leaves the body in other ways than exercise, some of the energy is used in body metabolism, your figures from two days of watching what you eat and what you do physically will not give a very accurate measure even if you measure perfectly, your measurements probably weren't perfect, and other factors of which you may think.)
