Curve Fitting and Goodness of Fit In developing a process for finding how well a curve
fits data, several steps are pre-cursors.
This site will start with the basics of a coordinate plane. From there we will move on to Building a
Model. The last two processes are
finding a curve and determining how well that curve fits the data. Along the way, students will gain an
understanding of what is involved in finding curves as well as the importance
of why we find curves for data. Links
below will guide you through the process.
Follow them in order and try not to get ahead of yourself!
