In this component of the module, the discussion will center on solutions and solubility.  Dissociation will be explored, along with hydration, salvation, saturation, and miscibility.  The lesson will culminate with three qualitative lab activities.  The unit ending project will be the Dissolved Oxygen Lab, complete with comprehensive lab write-up and multimedia presentation.  Assessment will be through standard assessment practices for the worksheet and questions, and through the rubric for the lab activities and the DO lab.
