Weight of southern pine in the piedmont

This tool calculates the green weight of the total tree (wood, bark, and foliage) for southern pine in the coastal plane of the south eastern United States. You can find the diameter if you measure the circumference of the tree at your breast  height in inches and divide by pi. 

Enter the diameter of the tree at breast height in inches. Use decimals not fractions. Example 5.5  not 5 1/2  

Enter the total height of the tree in feet. Use decimals not fractions. Example 25.75 not 25 feet 9 inches.

Input Values:

diameter of tree at breast height diameter = inches
total height of tree height = feet

Results:

total above ground weight of  tree weight1 = pounds
weight of  roots weight2 = pounds
total weight of tree  weight3 = pounds
