Evaluation Techniques

Throughout the lesson your students will find questions printed in red. The teacher tip pages have blue answers to these questions. Encourage your students to answer these questions in groups. The groups should be prepared to defend and explain how and why they arrived at these answers. Then they present their answers to the class. The class can challenge their findings.

Evaluate the accuracy of the student's findings and also their science skills.

Science skills include:

Good logic in arriving at, defending, and criticizing a position.

Criticizing and defending a position with tact and respect for others and their ideas.
