The content knowledge required to complete the model is the basic kinematics of position, average and instantaneous velocity and acceleration.  This project is aimed at an algebraic understanding of the concepts, no calculus required!  Students need to understand the following formulae and their applications:

Average velocity = change in position / change in time

Average acceleration = change in velocity / change in time
