The overall idea is for students to have the required content knowledge and Excel skills prior to tackling the transportation problem.  This allows the students to build their own model of the situation and the teacher to work as a facilitator rather than leading them step by step.  It is intended that the students build their own Excel spreadsheet to anaylze the data as they wish, and draw their own conclusion of the transportation mode based on that analysis.
