Activities:
- Students
will make observations of plasmolysis in cells (the effect of a
hypertonic solution on cells).
- Teacher
will briefly introduce the Superfund sites in Harris County and
surrounding area. PowerPoint presentation, “Superfund Sites in Texas”
- Teacher
demonstration to assist students in uncovering the meaning of “parts
per million” and “parts per billion”. (Handout and transparency)
