Welcome to the module, The Petrification Process of Wood.  We invite you to review the information and activities and extrapolate anything that would benefit your program.  The curriculum was designed for high school students by integrating a variety of methods and materials.  The design of the module incorporates comprehensive information appropriate for students in an environmental science program and evolves into area of chemistry and computational science.  Each lesson has instructions, goals and is designed to be accessed through the means of a computer.
