Inspiration

Inspiration is a great program that helps students create graphic organizers.

You will be using the posters you made on Day 1 for students to use to prepare an Inspiration model. The beginning of a sample is shown here. You can download a trial version of Inspiration or Kidspiration (the elementary version of Inspiration) .This is a 30 day free trial download.

It is a great program, very inexpensive, comparatively, to teach kids how to model using graphic organizers. It is easy to use and helps students see connections. You can design your own templates or use one of theirs to create countless models. Inspiration can be printed either scaled down to one page or over several pages. Then work can be displayed easily around the room. It is a very creative and potentially colorful program.
