    Additional Background Information

Some ideas to help you prepare for implementation of our module.

Here are two powerpoint presenations that help get you "geared up" for teaching computational science.

    1. Click here for a  powepoint presentation on the direction science is heading.

    2. Click here for a powerpoint presentation on the basics of computational science.

There is a book written by Diana Fischer on using Stella in the math classroom and is available through High Performance Systems for a fee.  It is a little expensive but is very useful.
