My motivation for teaching:
The students. When I look out there and see all these bright eyes waiting for me to speak and knowing that they hang on every word I say (I can dream). Realizing that in some way I have had some kind of an influence on their high school education gives me great motivation to give them a great learning experience while having a wonderful time learning and teaching math.

My favorite quote:
My students tell me I say this a lot
"When you get out there in the real world and have to do this kind of math...."

A personal humorous school story:
I am the pep club advisor. This year I really went all out and dressed up during spirit week. I dressed up as a punk rocker on punk rock day. A lot of the staff and students didn't recognize me. Until of course they heard my laugh. I had some creative outfits and the students told me that it was difficult to take me serious dressed up in wigs and wild outfits and makeup. We had such a great week together.
