My motivation for teaching:
I believe it is my responsibility to be a positive impact on the lives of my students. Each day I am able to share my love of learning and passion for science through a variety of strategies. One of my contributions to our future is to help mold their minds into critical thinkers, problem solvers, and life long learners.

My favorite quote:
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13

A personal humorous school story:
During one of my first years of teaching high school chemistry, my classes celebrated Mole Day on October 23. Part of their assignment was to dress as "mole." When I walked into my classroom, to my surprise, all of my students were transformed into "moles." It was a humorous sight and very difficult to keep my composure. That day my students exceeded my expectations and I was speechless. You had to be there to really appreciate this.
