My motivation for teaching:
I enjoy working with young people and watching as they grow and mature into young adults.

My favorite quote:
"Just because you hear what I say, doesn't mean you know what I meant."

A personal humorous school story:
I was teaching a 1st period basic electricity class in our old high school. I was talking about safety issues when dealing with electricity and electrical items. The students, who were new freshmen, were almost awake. As I was talking, I plugged in a device to an eye-level receptacle. Over the years the receptacle had carbonized and chose that moment to short out entirely, resulting in a huge ball of fire shooting out of the outlet. Needless to say I had the students undivided attention for the rest of the course.
