The Troubled River module was developed by a team of teachers from Havelock High School in Havelock, North Carolina. The teachers were a team with the National Computational Science Leadership Program (NCSLP).  Havelock, North Carolina is in the eastern part of the state bordered by the Neuse River and about 15 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. This module was created with data from the Neuse River, but could be adapted for any river.
