    Meet The Problem

    February 23, 2001

    Dear Chemistry 2 Students:

Ms. Hatcher shared with me that your class has been studying the chemical behavior of gases, and I was hoping you could help me. I have noticed that under certain situations my students and I seem drowsier in my classroom. I was reading in a news article recently and found that carbon dioxide levels can have an effect and was wondering if this was the situation in my room. I would like to address the building committee for a change in room or ventilation. In order to do this, I need concrete evidence to prove it. This is needed by March 5, 2001.

    Thank you,

    Becky James
