Teaching Tips!

Students will need a printed copy of the Activity Sheet before running the Stella model.
Students need to be reminded to change one variable at a time when they run the Infestation model.
Students need to be told that the vertical scale on the graph for the Stella model changes as the beetle population grows exponentially.
If your students do not have access to computers to work in small groups, you may use a teacher presentation station and use inquiry to "walk" through the model.
