The latest (2000) reported cost (construction) that TxDOT sent the Federal Highway Agency was $43 per square foot. Get the deck area of the bridge and multiply by this figure.

Congestion costs while old bridges are being replaced is at least as great as the construction costs for interstate and key arterial highways.

A mobile radar speed indicator is approximately $40,000.
