    An Exploration of
    Newton's Law of Cooling!

When you have a cup of hot coffee, how long does it take until the coffee reaches room temperature?  Does the coffee cool differently in a styrofoam, ceramic, or insulated container?  Does placing a lid on the container affect the cooling rate?

In this module, students will investigate the mathematical relationship that describes how liquids cool.
