Model and Data Comparison
Once the data from the experiment is collected,
enter the temperature data into the Excel spreadsheet under “Temperature
(°C)”
Now the model can be compared to the data
collected to validate or fine-tune the model. Click on the graph
created during Model Development and select Chart and
Add Data
then highlight the “Temperature (°C)” column.
The students can now adjust the four input
parameters to the model to determine the how close the model represents
the actual data.
