    What experiments can I do with the model?



    Procedures for running model

    Step 1. Now you should run your experiment with your model. Set up the model with the parameters you used in the experiment. Record those parameters below. 
     
    Gravity rate
    Plane height
    Plane Length
    Distance to ground

    Step 2. Start STELLA and open Projectile Motion. Transfer to the STELLA RUN mode. Use the SLIDERS to enter the appropriate values of the parameters. Set the ranges for the chart coordinates and run times that are appropriate for your problem and run the simulation. 

    Step 3. Record the results from your STELLA experiment in the following chart. 
     
    a. Velocity at end of inclined plane a.
    b. x-coordinate at final impact point b.
    c. y-coordinate at final impact point c.
    d. time to reach bottom of inclined plane d.
    e. Time to land on ground e.

    Analysis

    1. Compare these results with those of your experiment.

    2. Name more than one factor that might explain any difference between the actual results and the STELLA model and explain how that factor might affect the results.
